Tim: The Atlantic: “How ISIS started in Iraq/Syria”

Mac Mondays is 4 cousins born in ’88, ’89, ’91, and ’91 and most of our middle names are Macdonald. Tim, the oldest, had a great idea to start Mac Mondays where we would share interesting shit to spur interesting conversation and maintain the close relationship that has always felt more like brothers than cousins. Eventually, it turned into Mac Months and we’ve let our discipline slip over the years, but it remains a deep treasure chest of entertainment and information. Here’s the first iteration, an article from The Atlantic.

Mac Monday – Week 1
Tim: The Atlantic: “How ISIS started in Iraq/Syria”

Bros,

So I didn’t mean to start with something so heavy, but this article was so informative about where ISIS came from and where its headed. I myself know little about ISIS other than the mass executions and violence we see from the news, but its so interesting to read about their origins and its chronology in the Middle East…like a history lesson. We’ll talk about it! YAY! Here it is. If you’ve read it before, read it again–That will be the standard for these
Mac Mondays.–

Love
