My name is Ben Gould. I am a writer, content marketer, and Undrafted NBA Free Agent.

Besides making the NBA, when I grow up my dream is to have our tv show S.A.D. (Sales Are Dope) get picked up and publish my short stories into a book.

I currently reside in Quincy, Mass with my wife Ashley, my baby boy Wesley, and my two dogs Otis and Louise.

The Ghost Story

There is one surefire strategy to survive a haunted house. Get The Fuck Out of There. Watching scary movies as a child, I grew weary of yelling at fictional characters to leave, run, and get out. I never understood the stubborn, cynical Father who preferred white-knuckling through stressful renovations in the creepy attic while avoiding the subject of ghosts at the dinner table.

And then the bills were in my name…

…and whether it was due to the cannabis, old pipes, or the loud, incoherent ramblings of the unhoused outside, I found myself living in a creepy-ass, haunted apartment in San Francisco. It was then that I finally understood why those scary-movie-Dads stayed put despite the floating girl on the staircase… because moving is a freaking pain in the ass and if I die by ghost, then at least my job didn’t kill me.
